Juliet Phillips

Juliet is a campaigner working on energy markets and grids at Beyond Fossil Fuels. She works to ensure that European countries are expanding their electricity grids at pace to allow for the rapid take-off of renewable energy; and to ensure that power market rules are designed to incentivise investment in clean energy – and not fossil fuels.

Previously, Juliet led E3G’s UK energy team, specialising in power system decarbonisation, housing and energy poverty campaigns.  Prior to that, Juliet worked as an Ocean Campaigner at the Environmental Investigation Agency; and as a Campaign Manager at ShareAction, coordinating climate change-focused shareholder activism around the fossil fuel and banking sectors. She holds a MSc in Political Theory from the London School of Economics.
