Brigitte Alarcon

Brigitte Alarcon has joined Beyond Fossil Fuels as a Campaigner responsible for the Finance and Utilities work. A French national, Brigitte holds an MSc in Political Science and an MSc in Environmental Law from the University of Aix-Marseille. Apart from a brief stint with an environmental consultancy, she has built her career working for non-profit organisations on issues ranging from animal welfare to human health to sustainability.

As a passionate environmentalist, she spent seven years at WWF-UK: initially focusing on advancing the adoption of sustainable diets in the EU, and later, she was responsible for engaging with WWF’s corporate partners on issues including sustainable finance and climate change. In her spare time, she enjoys diving, dancing, and playing chess.
